Job Purpose:
The International Admissions Support Assistant will support all aspects of the admission of international undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate taught (PG) students to programmes of study within the University. They will work closely with the University's Global student recruitment and compliance functions, as well as with schools and faculties to deliver seamless services in an engaging and highly professional manner. The person appointed must be able to work under a minimum of supervision and to exercise considerable personal responsibility, judgment and initiative and be prepared for flexibility in work depending on the academic calendar.
They will commit to advising and supporting Ulster's international applicants and contribute not only the University's commitment to fair and transparent admissions but also its ambition for substantive increases in the number of well qualified international students recruited to Ulster. The role holder will be expected to work as part of the international admissions team to provide a professional and efficient applicant experience. They will also be expected to make an active contribution to both the Admission and Conversion process.
