Production Shift LeaderPetersfieldNights 11.00pm 7.00am Sunday ThursdayExcellent Salary + Shift premium + BonusMy client is a global leader in cosmetics and is seeking a Night Shift Lead to ensure all Production activities within an Assembly areawork at optimum performance to deliver an agreed production plan on time and whilst meeting all standards.Key responsibilities:Alignment of Teams and resources to achieve agreed production schedule inlinewith WC strategy.Increase production capacity and reduce changeover times. Prioritisechangeover activity and coordinate to support business performance.Develop High performing teams. Creation and execution of succession planscompletion of PDP and 1-2-1s to maintain team engagement.Drive high performance in physical area of responsibility.
Manage the team toensure they strive for excellence and efficiency.Facilitate cross-functional improvement with team and otherdepartments. Drive continuous improvement aligned to PPS. Ensure effectiveinformation exchange with all shifts and key support functions.Deliver performance against agreed targets for Safety, RFT, OEE, DLE, DSL andScrap.Manage the performance of direct reports effectively, to include recognition,performance management and disciplinary.
Effective workforce planningincluding monitoring sickness, absence and Holiday.Brief team on plant / company communications. Through Tier structure ensureescalation and feedback channels are maintained.Participate as required in Plant initiatives and projects.Qualifications:Manage a team effectively in a fast-moving FMCG environment. Ability to persuade,influence and motivate.
Experienced in 1:1Experienced with GMP and the implementation of Lean and 5S. Continuous Improvement and excellent problem solving.Good adaptable IT skills & written skills, for reporting and generalcorrespondence.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret statistical /numerical data for effective continuous improvement.Embed the company Principles within a daily working environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
