About the Role
The Project Coordinator will support our team of Field Engineers, responsible for scheduling and coordinating the engineers and ensuring projects are efficiently planned and executed. You will work closely with the field engineers, project managers, clients and internal teams to keep installations on track, manage logistics and resolve scheduling challenges. Your ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and keep operations running smoothly will be key to the success of the department.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive coordinator, with an eye for attention to detail and a solution focused mind set.
Responsibilities
* Manage and assign projects to engineers across the UK
* Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and requirements are met
* Responsible for ensuring business unit performance dashboard stats are updated monthly
* Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes and improve operational efficiency
* Maintain accurate records of job progress and compliance with health and safety regulations
* Handle last minute schedule changes, engineer absences and project delays, finding solutions and communicating them quickly
* Coordinate tools, vehicles and equipment for the engineers.
* Ensure all necessary site information and materials are in place ready for deployment.
* Act as a main point of contact between engineers and internal teams, providing updates and resolving scheduling conflicts.
* Manage travel logistics and workload to optimise field operations.
Requirements
* Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and MS Project.
* Demonstrate the ability to balance priorities among competing needs whilst providing the highest level of value to the company.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the ecosystem approach to EV adoption on a large scale.
* Experience of supply chain management.
* Ability to diagnose problems and act quickly find solutions
* Ability to collaborate ensuring compliance to health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* A resilient operator with a hands-on approach and a strong record of getting things done with pace
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
* Passionate about working in a demanding, fast moving, changing environment
