Our client, based in Bristol, are currently recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveyor on a permanent basis. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the salary for the role is £44,664.00 per year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with extensive Damp and Mould Surveying and will have experience working in Social Housing. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out detailed damp, mould and condensation surveys across the housing stock, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate remedial actions Creating specifications works, including ventilation improvements, insulation measures, building fabric repairs and property condition enhancements Partnering with the repairs teams, contractors and specialist consultants to ensure remedial works are completed to required standards Providing expert technical advice to tenants, customer service teams and internal stakeholders regarding damp, mould and condensation issues Managing a caseload of damp and mould cases, prioritising high-risk properties and ensuring timely resolution. Monitoring contractor performance and quality of works, raising any concerns and ensuring value for money. Supporting the development and delivery of damp and mould reduction programmes across the housing stock.
