Responsibilities
may include, but are not limited to:
1. Lead financial and accounting investigations in areas such as asset misappropriation, corruption and financial statement fraud;
2. Lead forensic accounting workstreams within large, multi-disciplinary investigations that may incorporate traditional investigative background research, complex data sets and accounting or economic analysis;
3. Design projects to support senior experts by making effective use of data from diverse sources, including economic, accounting and financial background information;
4. Provide team oversight, supervision and guidance on task execution;
5. Take responsibility for quality control on client deliverables and service provision;
6. Lead the day-to-day administration of engagements, including work planning and execution, budgeting and invoicing;
7. Prepare and presenting client proposal materials by consolidating observations into key themes for external counsel;
8. Lead business and practice development initiatives;
9. Build relationships with current and potential clients, and demonstrate the firm’s capabilities to potential clients, acting as a point of contact and assisting in presenting our conclusions and recommendations;
10. Foster a team environment that is positioned for success and expansion, by managing team morale and contributing to recruitment and retaining.
Desired Qualifications
11. Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or business management;
12. Chartered accountant or equivalent designation and/or other relevant certifications;
13. 10+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably audit or forensic and litigation consulting experience;
14. Experience managing large global engagements and managing multiple engagements simultaneously;
15. Experience analysing voluminous transactional electronic data, coordinating with data analytics professionals and providing effective visualisations of complex information;
16. Fluency in at least one language other than English is preferable; preference for French, Russian, Spanish, German, Italian or Arabic;
17. A willingness to work primarily in the office, in a collegial and entrepreneurial environment;
18. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and communication skills (oral and written);
19. Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams, be attentive to detail and meet deadlines.
20. A high level of initiative and curiosity, a strong work ethic and dedication to quality.
