About the role
As a Finance MI Manager at Prime, you will lead the development and transformation of management information across the business.
This role is focused on building scalable, automated reporting through Power BI, improving data quality, and delivering clear, actionable insight to support decision-making. You will play a key role in modernising reporting, moving away from manual processes to efficient, data-driven solutions.
What you’ll be doing
You will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support financial and operational performance reporting across the business.
You will develop robust data models and KPI frameworks, using DAX and Power BI to create scalable, user-friendly reporting that provides a consistent and reliable view of performance. A key focus will be establishing a “single source of truth” and improving the accuracy and integrity of management information.
You will work closely with the Head of FP&A and stakeholders across the business to understand reporting needs, translating requirements into clear and actionable outputs. You will also identify inefficiencies in existing reporting processes, replacing manual and spreadsheet-based approaches with automated solutions.
In addition, you will support financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment between financial models and reporting outputs.

You will be highly analytical, with the ability to work with complex datasets and translate them into clear, practical outputs for a range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
A solid understanding of finance and FP&A concepts is important, but this role is best suited to someone who is strongest in data, systems, and reporting rather than purely commercial finance.

Requirements
* Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards for financial and operational reporting
* Strong expertise in data modelling and DAX, including creating KPIs, measures, and performance metrics
* Experience transforming reporting processes, replacing manual or spreadsheet-based reporting with automated solutions
* Solid understanding of finance and FP&A concepts, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insight
* Experience developing and maintaining a “single source of truth” and improving data accuracy and consistency
* Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and working with complex datasets
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear, user-friendly outputs
