About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Sittingbourne from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a committed educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and supporting student achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages
Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with curriculum requirements
Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback and intervention where necessary
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
Uphold school policies, including behaviour management and safeguarding
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
Commitment to student progress and achievement
Ability to commute to Sittingbourne
