We are seeking an enthusiastic and approachable individual to join our ICT Support team on a fixed‑term basis. The primary focus of this Band 5 role is to lead and coordinate the NHS Forth Valley device‑refresh programme, ensuring timely replacement, deployment, and lifecycle management of end‑user devices across the organisation.
In addition to device‑refresh responsibilities, the post‑holder will also provide wider technical support to both the Desktop Support team and the GP Support team, contributing to the smooth delivery of ICT services across acute, community, and primary‑care settings.
You must have experience supporting current Windows desktop environments, delivering technical support within large‑scale ICT environments, and working to high standards of customer service with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team. The role also requires effective communication with third‑party contractors and internal stakeholders.
A HNC/HND or equivalent in a computing‑related discipline is required.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
