We are seeking a Data Scientist with prior experience working with gambling or iGaming data to join a growing analytics function. This role focuses on leveraging player, trading, and transactional datasets to drive commercial performance, risk management, and responsible gambling initiatives.
⚠️ Candidates must already have hands-on exposure to sportsbook, casino, or betting data environments, as domain understanding is essential to success in this position.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Build predictive models using player and betting data
* Analyse player behaviour, retention, churn, and lifetime value (LTV)
* Support trading, pricing, and performance analytics
* Develop fraud detection and risk models
* Deliver insights to product, trading, and commercial teams
* Work with high-volume transactional and real-time datasets
* Design and analyse A/B tests and experiments
✅ Required Experience (Essential)
* 🎰 1–5 years’ Data Science / Analytics experience within gambling or iGaming
* Experience working with sportsbook, casino, or betting datasets
* 🐍 Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
* 🗄️ Advanced SQL and large dataset querying
* 📊 Statistical modelling & machine learning
* Player behaviour or betting analytics exposure
* 💬 Strong stakeholder communication skills
