Shift Pattern
* Sunday 10:00 – 16:00
* Monday 14:30 – 20:00
* Tuesday 13:00 – 20:00
* Additional weekend working required as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
* Engage customers with warm and friendly service, addressing personal health concerns.
* Resolve customer issues quickly and refer customers to the appropriate pharmacy products.
* Drive awareness and delivery of the Pharmacy’s extra services, such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
* Support the pharmacist with patient services including blood‑pressure checks, stop‑smoking schemes and other shop‑based health initiatives.
* Collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries on behalf of customers and ensure they are ready for collection at the store.
* Follow the strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required for safe pharmacy practice.
* Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months, then progress to train as a Dispensing Assistant.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
* Highly organised, friendly, and customer‑focused.
* Good computer skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to solve problems.
* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
