Job Title: Internal Sales Executive Salary: Up to £37,000 basic comms Location: Bury, Greater Manchester Our client is looking to expand the team and hire an experienced Internal Sales Executive. Ideal candidate will come from a technical background however this is not essential as ful training is provided. This role is working for a company that has been established for over 35 years and has become a world leader wthin their industry. Job Description: * Focus on new business development through new and existing customers * Generate new project specifications for our chosen product lines with owners / operators and engineers. * When required assist with sales activities at exhibitions and conferences * Research and approach potential clients, projects and markets to establish new areas of business and focus. * Support external sales staff with installation training and support to ensure installation quality when required. * Build relationships and identify new contacts / applications and projects to help further grow our business with clients. * Drive sustainable sales growth through gaining engineering specifications for solutions and delivering world-class support throughout the project lifecycle * Effectively promote and apply company Core Values within industry * Plan and manage all customer contacts and meetings within the CRM system * Provide routine, accurate and meaningful market information, forecasting and product planning to management * Provide pre-sales technical advice and solution guidance. This will extend to providing design input for the range of bespoke products where required. * Develop relationships with learning managers within design engineering clients, organizing lunch & learn and CPD programmes. Preferred Job Requirements: * Professional sales experience with preference to those that have a successful record within a internal sales environment. * Experience of working on any of the following would be favorable, Process engineering sites, power networks, renewable generation, nuclear, marine, rail or building infrastructure. * Knowledge in target sector, with experience of civil construction, electrical, controls, automation and/or mechanical systems for our chosen markets. * Proven ability to manage long-term and complex sales projects to success * Ability to use industry news / project databases / relationships to develop technical sales opportunities * Experience of working with and supporting external sales roles as part of a team. * Proven track record of successfully working from home. Basic Skills/Knowledge: * Successful track record of selling premium solutions within a phone based selling role * Experience of providing technical support both internally and externally * Successful track record of working with premium solutions against low-cost competitors * Ability or desire to pursue a technical sales role in the future * Full UK driving license
