Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Driver / Porter to join our hotel team. This role combines driving, porterage, and general guest service duties to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests. The successful candidate will assist with luggage, transport guests safely, support hotel operations, and help maintain the hotels high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and departure.
Assist guests with luggage handling, room directions, and general enquiries.
Drive hotel vehicles to transport guests to and from Glasgow Airport
Ensure vehicles are clean, well maintained, and fuelled at all times.
Support the front desk team during busy periods with guest requests and deliveries.
Assist with room requests
Monitor the hotel entrance, lobby, and parking areas to ensure high levels of cleanliness
Provide support with set-up and clear downs of hotel meeting and events rooms
Follow hotel health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Skills & Requirements
Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in hospitality, porter, concierge, or driving roles preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills .
Friendly, professional, and approachable attitude.
Ability to lift and carry luggage safely .
Good knowledge of the local area and transport routes is desirable.
Flexible to work shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and holidays .
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
