Our Gainsborough site produces high quality print film solutions for suppliers of packaged food to many of the major supermarkets in the UK.
What you will do
* Monitor and control ink quality
* Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to (e.g. PPE, health and safety, hygiene, quality)
* Ensure press speeds are always optimised
* Working with and contributing to Continuous improvement activity across site
* Provide holiday cover in line with production agreement, and provide sickness cover where possible
* Ensure effective shift handover is carried out
* Developing the ink formulas and making them under the needs of clients
* Determine the best mix and texture of the ink
* Making the ink pigment that is suitable for printers
Contact with others
* To ensure that consideration and good relations are maintained at all times.
* To liaise, and communicate fully, at all times with the Line Manager and relevant personnel within the departmental framework.
