Working Hours
Monday-Thursday: 7:55am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:55am - 2:15pm (start your weekend early!)
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for coordinating all planning activities related to inbound and outbound materials and finished goods across the site. This includes creating records of material movements, negotiating with vendors, carrying out safety checks, and ensuring operations follow company and industry regulations.
As a Material Planner, you are accountable for:
* Using SAP MRP to procure required material quantities on time.
* Ensuring effective levels of raw materials and finished products.
* Utilising order forecasts to create efficient materials schedules.
* Ensuring purchase orders are placed with suppliers for raw materials and packaging to achieve OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) availability.
* Monitoring all work in progress and stock levels for raw materials and finished products.
* Ensuring Materials Schedule meets demand.
* Managing supplier delivery performance.
* Ensuring deliveries meet standards, including correct packaging.
* Monitoring inventory levels against targets.
* Managing bill of materials (BOM) and quantities needed for manufacturing.
* Recommending solutions to reduce costs and improve processes and quality.
* Escalating issues per procedures, e.g., incorrect deliveries.
* Adhering to quality standards and QMS requirements.
* Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping.
* Following company policies and code of conduct.
