Develop a sustainability and net zero carbon management strategy for BHRUT and implement it to an agreed timescale. Develop and oversee the delivery of the BHRUT Green Plans.
Manage the interface with Supplies and Commercial Services for the procurement of energy and utilities and carbon credits; and with ProjectCo for energy related PFI services for the Trust.
Take overall responsibility for the procurement of energy and carbon credits both inside and outside the PFI and working closely with procurement and estates colleagues.
Main duties of the job
To provide both Trust’s leadership on sustainability and carbon management issues. Ensure delivery against net zero carbon reduction and cost saving objectives to achieve the financial and legal obligations on each Trust.
To Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive information and present highly complex, sensitive or contentious information to groups. Lead in communicating what is required for the Trust to achieve its sustainability and carbon reduction performance targets and strategic objectives inside and outside the Trust.
