Based in Wrexham, North Wales, we are committed to sustaining a culture of extensive training, support and development for our flexible multi-skilled teams.
We're looking for a committed and detail-oriented Operations Training & AM Capability Lead within our Operations team to lead the development, delivery, and tracking of operational training programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation, and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) capability across the manufacturing site. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance with food safety and health & safety standards, and continuous people development through structured learning and coaching.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing:
* Skills & Capability Development – Own the Skills Needs Analysis, create role-specific skill cards, and design onboarding plans that build capability from day one.
* SOPs & Compliance – Keep our SOP library audit-ready, compliant, and accessible, ensuring Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards are always met.
* Training & Coaching – Deliver 'Train the Trainer' and operational specific programs, coach leaders, and support performance development across the site.
* Autonomous Maintenance & Digital Tools – Lead AM workshops, coach teams on defect handling and machine setup, and collaborate with digital teams to track KPIs and progress.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
* A confident communicator – Demonstrates confident and effective communication skills, engaging clearly with stakeholders at all levels to deliver training, influence outcomes, and support operational excellence.
* Detail-oriented - Displays strong attention to detail in the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with operational standards.
* Problem-solving mindset – able to identify training gaps and propose practical solutions.
* Committed to continuous improvement – actively seeks feedback and Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and compliance standards.

* IT proficiency – comfortable using learning management systems (LMS), Microsoft Office, and digital tools for training delivery.
