Job Duties:
Assist the lead teacher in the classroom with various tasks
Support students with their learning activities
Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require extra help
Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assist with classroom management and behaviour of students
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Maths
Basic IT skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
No specific formal education required, but a willingness to learn and develop in the role
Experience:
No prior experience necessary, training will be provided
Knowledge and Skills:
Passion for working with children and supporting their education
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification
Previous experience working with children in a learning environment
Working Conditions:
Work in a school setting under the supervision of a lead teacher
Potential for exposure to challenging behaviour from students
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or evening work for events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
