Wintringham Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with a desire to work with and improve the outcomes for students in our Educational Resource Base, known as The Lighthouse, for SEMH children. The hours will be 20 hours per week. Monday and Wednesday 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and Tuesday 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 39 working weeks per year, plus training days. Salary is dependent upon experience.
We are looking for someone to act as a role model for teaching and learning, who will also lead enrichment activities, improving the life chances of these students, to join our experienced staff team. We are looking for someone with relevant experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly school.
The right candidate will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team. They must demonstrate full commitment to the school and its aim to raise standards.
Every day you will be assisting in teaching language, literacy and numeracy helping the class reach the early learning goals of the national curriculum, along with encouraging good behaviour.
