The Nurse Specialist will be based in Litchdon House (Dermatology).
This is an internal vacancy for Royal Devon employees; bank workers are currently not eligible to apply.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and support to patients, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues in Dermatology.
* Provide appropriate written information for patients, relatives and hospital staff covering relevant condition and its treatment.
* Provide psychological, social and cultural support to all patients.
* Work as part of a team; may be required to work in other areas as directed by line manager.
* Support patients in dermatology specific clinics including acne and isotretinoin monitoring, chronic disease and biologic follow‑ups, phototherapy, patch testing and theatre support.
* Assist with 1:1s and employee check‑ins, support attendance management, and encourage staff in the delivery of the service.
* Complete a non‑medical prescribing degree if not already achieved.

37.5 hours (Monday - Friday)

Pay
The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026-7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3% pay award implemented from April 2026. If you join before this date, remuneration will be based on the 2025-6 pay bandings.
Salary Band 6: £39,959 - £48,117 per annum pro rata
