Support and Integration Officer

Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Salary: £26,521 per annum

Annual leave: 25 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays

About ACH

ACH is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering refugees and migrants in the UK to lead self‑sufficient and ambitious lives. In 2024, we helped house over 1,400 individuals and support more than 500 service users.


What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support and Integration Officer, you will deliver high‑quality support and guidance to help refugees successfully resettle and integrate into their new communities. Your responsibilities include:

* Taking ownership of your caseload – conducting pre‑tenancy assessments and creating personalized support plans
* Offering practical guidance on housing, health, education, employment and day‑to‑day living
* Developing strong relationships with local agencies and coordinating group sessions
* Making referrals to relevant departments and partner agencies
* Maintaining accurate case records and files to a high standard
* Participating fully in team meetings, training, supervision and other staff activities
* Organizing house meetings and carrying out property and community visits


What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you will need:

* Experience working with asylum seekers or refugees in a voluntary or paid capacity
* Experience providing advice and guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support
* Experience and knowledge of working with people with complex/multiple support needs
* Capability to support refugees in the UK and effectively assess, manage and continuously review needs and risks
* Ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload
* Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle

Due to the nature of this post, an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for successful applicants, with prior consent.
