Job Description
* Ensure delivery of packaging and raw materials to factory as required for production at lowest cost and most efficient service
* Identify and implement cost reductions or value engineering efficiencies in the MRP supply chain
* Review and implement processes to ensure right product right time delivery to site to meet the production requirements and demand
* Be a key stakeholder in the S&OP process at Rowse
* Determine and review supplier stock holdings short, medium and long term.
* Contribute to maintenance of customer service levels, business strategy and EBIT.
* Contribute to management and reduction of working capital requirements.
* Manage the MRP planning team (Stock Control Administrator and Procurement Planner) to assist in meeting day to day and week to week production plan.
* Work with Suppliers to ensure sourcing of packaging and materials at the best value, lowest cost (through correct MOQs, lead times and stock management)
* Work with key stakeholders across Production, Demand and Procurement to achieve S&OP weekly and monthly plans.
* Drive CI in the processes and activities carried out in the team on MRP
Qualifications
* Materials Replenishment Planning expertise.
* Use of ERP or similar systems for MRP.
* Knowledge of IFS preferred but not essential.
* Team Management and ability to upskill individuals on MRP process.
* Good communications skills/ ability to influence stakeholders.
* Good negotiation and influencing skills.
* Thrives in and can demonstrate team leadership.
* Ability to process data and information quickly and accurately and make key decisions in a fast paced environment.
* Continuous improvement experience.
* Day to Day supplier relationship and KPI management.
