As a Prosthetist, you will manage your own patient workload, rectifying casts and collaborating closely with our skilled technicians and clinical professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. The successful Prosthetist will have access to Ottobocks fully equipped onsite workshop and work within a multidisciplinary environment that encourages innovation, collaboration and service development. DUTIES Your duties as the Prosthetist include: Providing Patient Assessments: Evaluate patient needs and develop individualised prosthetic solutions Designing and Fitting Devices: Measure, design and fit prosthetic limbs ensuring optimal comfort and functionality Managing Workload: Organise and prioritise your own clinical caseload effectively Collaborating With Technicians: Work closely with Ottobocks technical team to ensure accurate and timely manufacturing of prosthetic devices Maintaining Records: Keep accurate documentation and patient notes in line with Ottobock and HCPC standards Supporting Service Development: Contribute ideas and feedback to improve service delivery and patient outcomes Promoting Best Practice: Maintain high clinical standards and adhere to professional and regulatory requirements Providing Ongoing Support: Offer follow-up care, adjustments and patient education to ensure long-term success of prosthetic solutions WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent qualification Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and/or a recognised professional body Previous experience in providing prosthetic services, ideally within a multidisciplinary clinical environment Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently and effectively Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills Full, valid UK driving licence Membership of BAPO (desirable) WHAT WE OFFER A supportive and inclusive work environment Opportunities for professional development and training Competitive salary and benefits package The chance to make a meaningful impact in patients lives NO AGENCIES PLEASE HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
