My client is one of the most established manufacturers of engineered GRP products in the UK. They have a superb reputation and client retentiion is extremely high due to very high quality products and services. The company is planning to grow the business by developing new products and markets. To lead this exciting new era for the company they are recuiting a Business Development Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Develop a sales & marketing strategy to support business growth.
* New market identification working with the design team developing new products
* Identification of new propective clients and openining new relationships
* Advising on marketing initiatives
* Mange a small team that support the sales function
* Delivering technical presentations and confidently demonstrating product benefits and how they meet clients’ needs and solve their problems.
* Manage relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, ensuring repeat business and high satisfaction levels.
This role will be ideal for someone with a proven track record of developing and managing new business, this could be (but not essential) in the commercial vehicle sector, other markets or with GRP products in general.
