Graduate Programme
You will develop technical skills, receive non‑technical training and take on real responsibilities from day one. Participation in diverse teams and international projects is expected. Support is provided to progress towards chartership within 4‑5 years.
Job Responsibilities
 * Perform basic mechanical engineering and technical safety tasks to produce project deliverables.
 * Support contract management by identifying variation requests.
 * Follow work plans and cost estimates to ensure quality and timely delivery.
 * Assist risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
 * Clarify technical queries for customers and collaborate with staff and contractors.
 * Use standard processes, software and tools and propose improvements.
Qualifications
 * Minimum 2:1 Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 * UK driving licence.
 * Energetic, enthusiastic and self‑motivated.
 * Clear communication skills and ability to deliver difficult news.
 * Willingness to travel as required.
 * Legal right to live and work in the UK—no visa sponsorship.
Desirable
 * Experience in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals industry.
 * Associate membership of relevant professional body (e.g., Institution of Mechanical Engineers).
