The opportunity
The successful candidate will teach, mentor, and inspire students in the craft of storytelling for stage as well as screen.
You will deliver lectures and tutorials that cover the fundamentals of dramatic writing, from idea development through to script completion.
Alongside teaching, you will provide critical feedback on student work, guide creative projects, and support students in preparing for professional pathways in TV, film, and theatre.
Your profile
Suitable candidates will:
- Be able to deliver writing workshops focusing on TV, Film and Theatre.
- Possess cross-medium adaptability, with knowledge of the different demands of screenwriting vs. playwriting.
- Possess story development expertise, including world-building, theme, and tone.
- Knowledge and experience of the editing and redrafting process - ability to teach/introduce this process to students.
