Thank you for your interest in the role of Senior Physiotherapist within the Chronic Pelvic Pain Physiotherapy team at Oxford University Hospitals. We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist eager to develop expertise in pelvic health physiotherapy, dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
The successful candidate will manage an outpatient caseload, including classes and multidisciplinary clinics. Opportunities for ongoing training and supervision are available. Previous pelvic health experience is preferred but not essential. The position involves hours per week, working weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Main duties of the job
* Manage a diverse and complex clinical caseload independently, ensuring professional and legal responsibilities are met.
* Assess and treat patients with chronic pelvic pain autonomously, reporting to the Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Pain.
* Collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary team for Chronic Pelvic Pain services.
* Work with Lead Consultants and team members for both Adult and Adolescent services.
* Supervise, teach, and appraise physiotherapists and students within the pelvic pain service.
* Support the organisation and daily operations of the Chronic Pelvic Pain Service.
* Participate in quality improvement projects to uphold high standards of practice.
