Duties
* Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children in your care.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood education.
* Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly, ensuring that each child feels secure and valued.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
* Drive initiatives that promote social skills, emotional intelligence, and cognitive development among young learners.
* Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of early years education within the nursery.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the learning environment to promote health and safety standards.
Experience
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their developmental journey is crucial.
References and an enhanced DBS check are essential for this role.
