Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: 84,000 - 120,000 + potential bonuses (Recruiting and Incentive Programs)
Are you an experienced aviation professional with a passion for leadership and operational excellence? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee critical maintenance operations in Kansas City, MO. This role is your opportunity to lead a skilled team, ensure safety and compliance, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Supervise aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring all tasks meet FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and customer expectations.
* Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, and alterations, ensuring airworthiness and compliance.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Control, and other departments to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.
* Ensure proper planning and execution of maintenance tasks using customer package requirements.
* Manage labor hours, maintenance schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time aircraft delivery.
* Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customers regarding aircraft status and project progress.
* Uphold safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring all work areas remain clean and audit-ready.
* Train and develop team members, identifying future leaders within the organization.
What You Bring:Required Qualifications:
* Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
* Minimum 5 years of commercial MRO maintenance experience.
* At least 2 years of leadership experience in an MRO environment.
* Strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements, including FAR Part 121 and 91.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle, AutoTime, and Gateway is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel.
* Experience managing multiple projects and meeting operational deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
