The role of a planner is to work with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are defined. The planner provides clarity on key milestones to define what, when and how activities will be organised to ensure the outcomes of the projects/programme can be achieved. They lead on all aspects of project planning, which include the development, updating and monitoring of plans and schedules. They identify activities, interdependencies and outputs for the projects/programme and work with projects to track and monitor progress. In CCG TD, this will involve working with our PMO Planners and Planner leads within our Enterprise Portfolio Office to adhere to CCG TD s Planning, Dependency and Change Control Frameworks. Planners also ensure continuous improvement and adoption of standards across CCG s portfolio of project, integrating and aligning with HMRC portfolio practices. Essential Criteria Significant experience of project/programme planning, being able to demonstrate plan and schedule development including key milestones and dependency management. Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of good Project Management, with focus on planning. Ability to work with and manage multiple stakeholders. Evidence of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong experience of Microsoft Product suite and other applications A recognised Project Delivery qualification (Foundation level is acceptable)
