Sales Account Manager – Southeast Region | Packaging Automation
A leading international packaging automation business is seeking a Sales Account Manager to support continued growth across the Southeast region.
This role is suited to an experienced technical sales professional with a background in packaging machinery, industrial automation, or capital equipment sales who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships and delivering consultative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage customer relationships across the Southeast territory
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to project handover
* Deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers
* Work closely with engineering, service, and international support teams
* Attend customer sites, trade exhibitions, and industry events
* Maintain accurate CRM activity and sales reporting
* Provide market and competitor feedback to the wider business
Requirements
* Proven experience in technical sales or account management
* Background within packaging machinery, automation, or capital equipment
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Ability to understand customer applications and propose solutions
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated and able to manage a regional territory independently
Territory: Southeast Region
Travel required throughout the territory
