Base pay range
We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Supervisor for our shop in Woodseats (S8 0RW). We offer a permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.
What does the apprenticeship involve?
* Working in a busy shop and learning how to be a great supervisor.
* Regular pre-arranged visits (every 10 to 12 weeks) from an assessor from our apprenticeship provider. In between visits, regular reviews will be conducted via webinar, telephone and video call.
* Regular completion of apprenticeship coursework.
* Completion of functional skills in English and Maths (only if required).
* Completion of an assessment at the end of your 12 months of training.
Pay, working hours and benefits:
You will earn £13.11 per hour from day one and are guaranteed 35 hours pay per week, amounting to at least £458 weekly. Additionally, you will benefit from:

As one of our supervisor apprentices you will:
* Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting.
* Help customers find items they are looking for.
* Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, assisting with packing and leaving a positive impression.
* Handle stock carefully, working deliveries, and stocking shelves and freezers efficiently.
* Work with your team to keep the shop clean and tidy.
* Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and support your manager in team leadership.
You will need:
* A friendly, positive, hardworking attitude.
* Enjoy being busy and versatile, from serving customers to organizing team tasks.
* Reliability, as you'll be an important part of a small team.
* Flexibility in shifts, with planned rota three weeks in advance, considering your outside commitments.
* Ensure timely completion of apprenticeship work.
