The Best Connection recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) night drivers and weekend work for ongoing work with our client based in West Auckland. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent night shifts with a reputable operator.
An assessment and induction are required prior to starting. Induction will be paid once 10 shifts have been completed.
Job Duties
* Curtainside trailer operations
* Ratchet strapping
* Conducting vehicle checks and defect reporting
* Ensuring load security and delivery accuracy
* Adhering to legal driving standards, The Highway Code, and company safety policies
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Licence
* Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 1 years’ commercial UK Class 1 experience
Hours of work:
* Shift start times of 18:00
* Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:
* £16.25 per hour Monday to Friday
