About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated supply Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality BTEC courses to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and contributing to the department's continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to all students' needs.
2. Assess, record, and report on students' development, progress, and attainment.
3. Provide academic and pastoral support, encouraging educational development and well-being.
4. Stay updated with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Health and Social Care.
5. Contribute to departmental policies and procedures.
6. Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is ESSENTIAL.
Degree in Health and Social Care or related field. Experience teaching BTEC Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and 5.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for the subject.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
