Churchland Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead our established, multi-doctor small animal practice in Portsmouth, VA (Hampton Roads area).
Schedule & Experience
* Full-time, flexible 4-5 day work week
* No on-call or emergency coverage
* 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
* Prior leadership experience a plus (but not required)
* Virginia license required (or eligible)
Leadership & Clinical Role
Responsibilities
* Upholding and advancing standards of care
* Mentoring and developing associate DVMs
* Supporting case collaboration and medical decision-making
* Partnering on hospital growth initiatives and team development
* Fostering a positive, accountable, team-first culture
