To support the Project Manager and act as Project Lead to deliver projects in accordance with the client procedures, quality and contract management standards. Responsibilities:
* Booking Sub-Contractors onto site
* Ensure all sub-contractor personnel are fully security vetted and inducted to the site and work in compliance with the client processes and procedures
* Management of Risk Assessments through the approval process and ensuring compliance to them
* Check SQEP ness of sub-contractors and provide evidence to the client as requested
* Setting sub-contractors to work and supervising the site operations
* Ensure Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards are being met on site at all times
* Strong health and safety knowledge - IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum
* Hold permits to work for tasks that require them for sub-contractors
* Report all near misses and accidents through the appropriate channels
* Attend client planning meetings where required, and submit sub-contractors schedules and manage works to the submitted schedule
* Interface with the client and the construction office
Strong Civils Background with a good working knowledge of civil works processes
* Knowledge and experience of working within the construction industry (essential)
* Valid CSCS Card
* Valid SMSTS Card
* Working Knowledge CDM, Temporary Works, HSG47, LOLER, PUWER etc.
* Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Demonstrate knowledge and implementation of the NEC 3 suite of contracts
* Competent in the use of Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
* Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good Problem solving skills.
* Flexible in approach to solving issues and delivering projects.
* Well organised with good time management skills.
* To be polite, positive and helpful at all times
* Full UK Driving licence.
