To be successful as a Senior Test Manager, you should have experience with:
1. Leading testing functions for medium to large multi-year transformation programmes in the Banking/Finance domain.
2. Coordinating and working with multi-location delivery teams.
3. Stakeholder management and dealing with accountable executives at Director/Managing Director level.
4. Working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE) based federated Technology delivery model is desirable.
Additional valued skills include:
* Degree in a numerate subject (e.g., maths, computer science, etc.).
* Experience in Treasury/Finance domains.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
* Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.

Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure software quality and reliability.
Accountabilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and develop acceptance criteria.
* Perform root cause analysis for defects, working with developers to resolve issues.
* Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.
* Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to technology communities to foster excellence.
