Night Auditor – Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel & Country Club
As a Night Auditor at Breadsall Priory, you will play a key role in both administrative duties and guest service. The position is responsible for completing end-of-day reporting tasks while also ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
Main Responsibilities
* Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backups, and rolling the date
* Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit transactions
* Print contingency lists to maintain accurate records of all guests in case of emergency
* Operate the telephone switchboard, including handling wake‑up call requests
* Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and professionally
* Deliver excellent guest service by understanding needs, recommending suitable services, and building guest loyalty to Marriott
* Ensure the accuracy and completion of folios, room changes, and credit approvals
* Provide a quick, efficient, and friendly check‑in and departure experience
* Comply with cash handling and credit policies and procedures
* Complete nightly checklist tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations
* Provide information to guests regarding hotel facilities, services, hours of operation, room locations, and rates
* Follow room selling strategies, cancellation policies, and walk procedures
* Handle messages and enquiries via the switchboard promptly and professionally
* Be fully aware of Accident Reporting, Maintenance Fault, and Fire Safety procedures
