Salary: The starting salary is £53,459, including allowances totaling £2,928.
The breakdown is £50,531 basic salary, increasing annually up to £55,103, plus a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) relies on high-performing individuals daily. As a Business Service Manager, you’ll manage service level agreements, operational level agreements, and underpinning contracts to ensure CTP receives high-quality services. Your work will support CTP's mission to keep the country safe. Join our team and help protect the UK.
You’ll be part of the Customer Service Centre (CSC), which provides national IT services for CTP. You’ll work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to support the delivery of service level agreements, ensuring they are met.
Your daily tasks will include monitoring and managing services through management reports, tracking service levels, conducting service reviews with stakeholders, and liaising with customers and users to identify improvement opportunities.
Required experience includes ITIL service management processes such as Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management. You should be accustomed to making decisions in a busy service environment.
Your technical knowledge should encompass IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and infrastructure and application monitoring and automation tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are equally important.
