Finance Business Partner

About the RoleA growing, international organisation is seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded Finance Business Partner to support its European operations. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a qualified finance professional with excellent stakeholder management skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving business performance, supporting financial planning and analysis, and delivering meaningful insights across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with budget holders and senior management to support strategic decision-making with clear, data-led insights
* Build strong working relationships across departments to promote financial accountability
* Analyse variances, investigate trends, and present findings in monthly performance reports
* Produce and deliver monthly reporting packs (WD7) and support rolling P&L forecasting
* Liaise with offshore finance teams, ensuring data accuracy and resolving queries
* Collaborate with accounting and control teams on financial data collation and analysis
* Support the development of competitor and market insight reports
* Contribute to annual budget planning and forecasting cycles
* Present financial performance at departmental meetings, including KPIs and commercial updates
* Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and commercial growth
Candidate Profile
* ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2–3 years of post-qualification experience
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record in effective business partnering
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
* Proficient in Excel and data analysis; Power BI experience is advantageous
* Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
* Strong communication skills, particularly when presenting complex data to non-finance audiences
