Required for December 2025/January 2026. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of mathematics to join our department on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to inspire and motivate students across KS3 and KS4 in a truly supportive academy.
Outwood Academy Foxhills, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, is within easy reach of Lincoln, Grimsby and the east of Doncaster. Its most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2022 obtained the grade of Outstanding in all areas. Outwood Academy Foxhills is part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust and is at the forefront of maths education, ensuring students are taught maths for deep understanding and leave school with a maths qualification that opens doors. The curriculum and training/support for teachers are designed to build confidence to facilitate this for all students.
We have a comprehensive training package for new and early-career teachers, including: Teaching for Mastery; Open Classroom events; Maths Matters; TSST; Reasoning at KS3; weekly professional development time and further programmes free through the Outwood Institute of Education.
