Consultant Paediatrician in Community Child Health

We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant Community Paediatrician with full GMC registration and entry onto the Specialist Register, or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, with broad training and experience in Paediatrics / Community Child Health. Applicants should have the ability to demonstrate a flexible approach and attitude to the delivery of services.
Key Qualifications
* Experience in safeguarding medicals and in ADHD and Autism assessment and Management
* Evidence of participation in clinical audit and understanding of the role of audit in improving medical practice
* Understanding of clinical risk management and clinical governance
* Ability to apply research outcomes to clinical practice
* Experience in departmental teaching
Service Overview
The Community Paediatric Service is part of a combined Children’s Service provided by United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. It is responsible for a comprehensive range of services to the local population of 680,000.
The service, part of the family health division, includes nine consultants (including this post) providing a secondary care consultant‑led service delivered by experienced doctors trained in paediatrics and child health with specialist skills in:
* Child Development
* Childhood Disabilities
* Safeguarding Children
* Learning disabilities
* Neurodevelopmental problems – Autism/ADHD
* Neurodisability
* SUDIC
* Adoption work
* End of Life care clinical support
