Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Equestrian Coach to join our team on a Saturday 8am-5pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop riders of all skill levels. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, and promoting the love of equestrian sports. If you are looking for more hours, then this may also become available at a later date.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes tailored to individual riders' needs and goals.
* Conduct riding lessons in various disciplines, ensuring safety and proper technique.
* Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to riders to enhance their skills and confidence.
* Maintain the health and well-being of horses under your care, including feeding, grooming, and exercise routines.
* Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a cohesive training environment.
Qualifications
* BHS stage 3 teach or stage 2 teach, looking to progress towards stage 3 OR you have a competitive riding history, competing horses/ponies from pony club, unaffiliated or affiliated in any discipline but with no BHS training will also be considered or even better
* Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with riders of all ages.
* Excellent knowledge of horse care, riding techniques, and safety protocols.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
