VANRATH are recruiting a Stores Manger to work for a leading supplier of specialist electrical power, control and automation products, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration:
£35,000 - £40,000 + package

Our client is a leading supplier of electrical power, control and automation products that have been operating for half a century. The business is committed to both quality electrical supplies and industry-leading customer service and have established themselves as one the UK's fastest growing Power, Control and Automation technical distributors.
Over the years they have grown and have multiple branches across the UK, evolving within the industrial control and automation electrical market becoming a specialist supplier of electromechanical and automation products.
Overview of Role:
Reporting to the General Manager your main responsibilities as Stores Manager will include, but are not limited to:
5. Maintain and enhance stores processes and strategies
6. Lead a team of stores personnel covering incoming goods through to delivery operations
7. Work with suppliers, customers and internal departments to streamline operations
8. Maintain all plant, vehicles and building services
9. Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental processes are continually being adhered to and certification is maintained
10. Maintain appropriate documentation in relation to the Northern Ireland Protocol covering GB and 3rd country arrivals
11. Streamline and reduce costs throughout all stores activities
12. Measure stores performance and track metrics
13. Maintain all logistics activities including vans and 3rd party couriers
14. Oversee the recruitment, hiring and training of new staff
15. Provide reports for management
16. Adhere to all associated regulations
17. Resolve customer reported complaints and enhance service level agreements and processes
The Ideal Person:
18. At least 5 years' experience in a store's role
19. Knowledge of electrical components and a general understanding of applications
20. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team
21. Strong IT knowledge - preferably Sage 200c and MS excel
22. Ability to work with minimal supervision and drive action
23. Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
