Ready to lead quality at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation?
I am working with an ambitious and forward-thinking pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to take the reins of QA operations at their cutting-edge site in Milton Park.
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to drive change, shape standards, and play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and life-enhancing medicines to the world.
If you're a natural leader with an eye for detail, a passion for compliance, and a mindset for continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Own & Lead:
* Partner with the Site Director to design and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Set and steer strategic quality goals to support business growth and compliance excellence.
* Turn quality data into actionable insights that help drive smarter decisions.
* Own and oversee CAPA, deviation, and error management — from root cause to resolution.
* Manage the change control process, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
* Champion training and development, embedding a quality mindset across the site.
Ensure Regulatory Excellence
* Take the lead on compliance across all manufacturing, testing, and distribution activities — aligned with UK regulations and global pharma standards.
* Protect the integrity of every product, from raw materials to final release.
* Lead supplier qualification audits and maintain a robust, trustworthy supply chain.
* Conduct internal audits to keep systems sharp, efficient, and inspection-ready.
* Manage our document control system, ensuring up-to-date procedures that meet both GMP and corporate standards.
* Handle recalls and complaints with speed and confidence — in close collaboration with regulatory authorities.
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical QA, ideally in a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment.
* Deep understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Validation experience is desirable, by not a must.
* Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills.
* A confident, collaborative communicator who thrives in a cross-functional team.
You’ll be joining a company where quality isn’t just a box to tick — it’s the foundation of everything they do.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a growing QA function, influence operational strategy, and be part of a mission-driven team that’s making a real difference in people’s lives.
