Your new role
As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of multiple mechanical projects from inception through topletion and handover.
You will oversee programme delivery, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects arepleted safely, on time, and to specification.
Your role will involve managing site teams and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships with clients and consultants, and ensuringmercial performance across your projects.
You will also be responsible for reviewing technical drawings and specifications, ensuringpliance with relevant mechanical standards, and driving high levels of quality across all installations, including HVAC, pipework, and plumbing systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Manager
1. Background working for a mechanical or M&E contractor
2. Experience delivering projects acrossmercial and/or industrial sectors
3. Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
4. Goodmercial awareness and cost control experience
5. Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
6. Relevant mechanical qualifications ( NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC in Mechanical Engineering)
7. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services systems
8. Understanding of current health & safety legislation
9. Full UK driving licence
