About the Role
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Lead at our Menstrie manufacturing site! In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Audit Programme and Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with the Kerry Manufacturing Standard (KMS), Site Food Security and Food Safety Programs, Group Regulatory policies, and all customer requirements. If you have significant experience and a deep understanding of food quality policies, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the site’s external and internal audit programme, ensuring timely completion and resolution of non-conformances.
* Establish a robust QMS Audit Programme covering all relevant standards, defined by risk assessment.
* Ensure compliance with external accreditations such as GSS, FSSC, Halal, Kosher, and more.
* Own and enhance the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) framework and documentation.
* Oversee the Food Safety Programme (HACCP) and Allergen Management Programmes, ensuring compliance and regular reviews.
* Lead the HACCP Team in developing plans and documentation aligned with Kerry Global standards.
* Manage training needs for Food hygiene standards, HACCP, TACCP, and Allergens.
* Support and develop your direct reports, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Generate and maintain internal quality and food safety KPIs and customer reports with accurate data analysis.
* Ensure an Approved Supplier Programme and Food Defence Programme are in place.
* Maintain a robust traceability procedure and Crisis Management Programme.
* Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely responses and reporting.
* Build strong relationships with centralized functions for smooth product and process introductions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Significant quality experience in the Food, Beverage, or Pharma industry with a keen eye for detail.
* Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology.
* Lead Auditor Qualification and familiarity with various standards.
* HACCP Level 4 (minimum) and Food Hygiene Level 3 (minimum).
* Proficient written, numerical, and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong numerical ability for data recording, interpretation, and analysis.
* SAP experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels.
* Proficient in MS Office tools.
