You will report to the Operations Director. Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager: · Responsible and accountable for manufacturing - process in place to ensure lines are loaded/kits are available (managing WIP stock levels and accuracy), producing the products, closing off the production of the goods ready for dispatch all to the required OTIF and quality targets. · Ensure and effective management system is in place to manage all areas under your responsibility, must include reports which provide you with the required data to manage the team effectively, as if you dont know where you are, you do not know where to go. · Manufacture products efficiently, on budget, to set quality standards and on time. · Reduce lead times while keeping production flexible to meet customer expectations. · Analyse output against forecasted plans to track performance, identifying any problem areas and opportunities to improve efficiencies. · Communicate between production and sales team to ensure lead times are achieved and customers are made aware of any possible delays. · Attend meetings to communicate any...
