Caldex Holdings Limited (Classic Pet Products) is based in Halifax, founded in 1975, and has experience in the Pet Industry going back four generations. The company manufactures, imports, and distributes pet accessories to over 40 countries and is continually expanding into new markets and new sales channels.

Caldex is looking for an Accounts and Sales Support Administrator to join the team in our office in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This key office-based role provides vital support across both the accounts and sales functions, ensuring accurate order processing, smooth cash flow, and excellent customer service.

Key Activities

* Sales order processing – creating invoices, sales orders, purchase orders
* Processing and reconciling customer payments
* Credit control – monitoring overdue accounts and liaising with customers
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* Managing Amazon payments and resolving related issues
* Cash posting and general ledger entries
* Assisting with accounts reporting and month-end tasks
* General office & administration duties

The successful applicant must have:

* Proven accounts experience, including bank reconciliations, credit control, and payment processing
* Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role (essential)
* Good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal
* High level of Microsoft Office, with good Excel knowledge (formulas, lookups, data handling)
* Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to function in a small, busy, manufacturing/wholesale environment
* Confident telephone manner and comfortable dealing with customers and colleagues
* Self-motivated with the ability to work under own initiative

* Office-based at our premises in Halifax
* Flexible working hours for the right candidate: 16 – 24 hours per week (to be agreed)
