Who You Are
✅ Confident communicator, able to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone
✅ Self-motivated and target-driven, with a strong sense of ownership over results
✅ Organised and methodical, capable of managing leads, logging calls, and consistently following up using a CRM
✅ Commercially aware, with the ability to explain how a logistics platform benefits transport professionals and supports business growth
✅ Experience in B2B telesales, logistics, or transport (preferred), or a strong willingness to learn the sector quickly
✅ Persistent and professional, with a positive attitude and strong objection-handling skills
✅ Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment, with excellent time management
✅ English speaker, with outstanding spoken and written communication skills
Ideal Experience & Background
* Previous experience in the transport or logistics industry — e.g. haulage, courier service, freight forwarding, or TMS provider
* Familiarity with freight exchanges, load boards, or digital booking platforms — either as a user or in a sales/operations role
* Experience working with or selling to carriers, owner-drivers, fleet operators, or dispatchers
* Understanding of UK/EU road freight operations, including issues like dead mileage and inefficient booking
* B2B sales, account management, or customer support in transport or supply chain services
* Operational experience in quoting, dispatching, assigning loads, or onboarding clients
* Strong grasp of industry terminology: vehicle types, load categories, profit margins, etc.
* Confidence using CRM systems, lead tracking tools, or logistics software (TMS, route planning apps)
* Awareness of compliance terms such as FORS, GIT, cabotage, and CPC
* Understanding of direct loads, co-loads, and backloads
