The Grand Hotel Tynemouth is hiring - Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you'll take full ownership of all F&B operations across our vibrant restaurant, stylish bar, room service, and events/ wedding spaces. This is a hands-on role to provide excellent customer service, to constantly exceed customer expectations delivering the highest standards with an informed, friendly and effective approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Great Customer Service
* Basic Coffee Training - we can teach you the rest
* Outgoing, Positive Personality - Confidence is key
* Knowledge of Food Service & Upselling
* Lead, train, and motivate a dynamic team across all F&B outlets
* Plan and deliver exceptional service for events, banquets, and VIP functions
* Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver a creative drinks menu
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
* Proven F&B management experience in a 3-star (or higher) hospitality environment
* Charismatic leader with a "can-do" attitude and a hands-on approach
* Strong operational knowledge and financial acumen
* Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
* Passion for food, wine, and creating memorable guest moments
* Ability to thrive under pressure and lead by example
